2nd Run for 2021! The “Five Hills in New Hampshire” route will depart and return to Jake Kassen’s yard in Medford, MA. Bathroom access will be available. Due to Massachusetts limitations on gatherings, the ride will be limited to 25 participants.

Full Electronic Proof of Passage (EPP) will be available to riders to give a completely “contactless” option. More information will be emailed to registered riders.

This Brevet was first run in the fall of 2018 and is reminiscent of the old Boston 200k to New Boston & Brookline New Hampshire. The route is rolling through the Massachusetts sections with five notable climbs in New Hampshire. The route has approx. 7000ft of climbing.

There is no cost to participate but you must be a RUSA Member for 2021. Bright Head and Tail lights + reflective gear (Sash/Vest, legbands) are required for all riders.

Parking Info: Park on street (either side) or in municipal lot at Governors Ave & High St. Please do not park in driveway.

Photos from 2018:

Grain Silo in Littleton, MA. Might be the closet large silo to the city of Boston. While common in the midwest, a huge silo like this is pretty rare in Massachusetts.
If you are still hungry after stopping at the Hilltop Cafe, the Mt. Vernon General Store will help.
Highest point of the ride with an elevation of about 1000′.
The side of the Hilltop Cafe in Wilton, NH.
Massachusetts scoffs at Vermont’s covered bridges. In Pepperell the covered bridges are newly built and huge.
If you’ve been looking for a Purple Castle, it can be found on this route
The sculpture garden at this mansion (compound?) in Groton continues to grow. Hard to know if they like art of just hate to mow.
Great Brook Farm doing an impression of Iowa
Early morning passing perhaps a farm Lexington.
Lots of small roads like this on in Bedford
