The route is rolling with mostly flat terrain for the first half and occasional steep but short rollers in CT. Riders will be on bike paths for 25+ of the route. The roads used are a mix of very small back roads and low traffic numbered roads to keep navigation easy. (1 page cue sheet!) Riders will visit the swanky neighborhood of Watch Hill, RI the scenic seaside town of Mystic, and stop at the Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm which long time riders will remember from the Voluntown 300k. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Consideration: <\/strong> The route starts from city of Providence, RI and the <strong><em>first &#038; last four miles consist of inner-city, urban riding<\/em><\/strong>. On the return, riders may be riding through this section of Cranston and Providence after dark.
