I know from friends in other non-profit organizations that it is unusual to have more candidates than positions. We are fortunate to have so many people willing to support the organization.<\/p>\n<p>I would also like to thank outgoing board members Justin Brooke, Eva Papp, and Dave Zion for their work on the board, particularly over that last year while I have been president.<\/p>\n<p>I am also pleased to announce that as of Dec 12, 2014, NER has been officially recognized as a non-profit corporation by the IRS.
