This ride starts at 4am for the 400km ride.<\/h3>\n

Please arrive at the start no later then 3:40am for check-in and instructions.<\/p>\n

The ACP 100-year anniversary 400k will be a rolling loop ride through Northern Vermont, avoiding all of the classic \u201cgap\u201d climbs and generally following 100N up to the Canadian Border and 14S back. \u00a0The route will be scenic throughout, with long stretches of little traffic, and forgiving in that most of the climbing will be in the first half.\u00a0 It’s a great tune-up for PBP, with similar amounts of climbing and an easy to follow cue sheet.<\/p>\n

Riders may want to bring a swimsuit to have on hand at the lunch stop if they think a refreshing dip in a \u201cclassic\u201d Vermont swimming hole might appeal to them. The bathing spot is right across from the northernmost control where riders can order a sandwich and drink of choice.<\/p>\n

Commemorative medals will be available at the finish; NER will have 25 of them and they will be alloted by registration order.\u00a0 If you sign up after the slots are gone, finish the ride, you will be able to purchase one from RUSA afterward.\u00a0 We expect based on past attendance to have enough but we want to be clear about what to expect if we get a big crowd.<\/p>\n

Ride Start Parking Notes:<\/strong> Please park in the Sheriff\u2019s Department \/ County Offices parking lot. It is the next building west on Route 4 from Maplefield\u2019s on the right.<\/p>\n
